Seems like beauty is skin deep these days

Nowadays girls want to look older than they are. To be honest I don’t see why. Courtney Stodden is a prime example. She hit the headlines when the then 16-year-old marries 51-year-old Doug Hutchinson who is an actor. Even though it technically illegal her mother gave her consent for the two to be married. Who would want their 16-year-old to be married to someone who is 35 years older than her? That’s just creepy. So many young teenage girls these days are pressured into looking older than they are. One of the things to blame is the teen celebs that look a lot older than they are because of the way they dress, Kylie and Kendall Jenner for example.

You see it all the time on social networking sites with teenage girls posting photos of them posing in outfits before going out with loads of make up, fake tan on, high heeled shoes and a dress that is way too provocative. Yes I know I may sound like an old woman moaning about this but it’s true. All these girls are desperate to look older but when they actually get the attention they moan about. Here’s a tip: if you don’t want older guys looking at you then don’t dress like you’re about 21 when you are actually about 15. Popular isn’t fully to blame, parents are also to blame because they actually let their teenage daughters go out dressed like that. I’m 20 and some of the outfits I have seen these girls in I would never ever go out in. It’s often difficult nowadays to tell how old a girl is because they all look like they are about 20. What gets me is that when you are younger you want to look older and when you get older you want to look younger.

Also blokes riddle me this. You protest about how much you prefer natural beauty and would prefer a girl to be barefaced and look really natural rather than have make up that looks like it’s been put on with a trowel. However, on nights on this seems to completely go out the window. On a night out you would rather get with the girl who has the most make up on, the skimpiest outfit, yet the girl who has minimal make up, isn’t showing immense amounts of flesh doesn’t get all this attention. What’s up with that?

So how is this:

more attractive than this:

Some people think that having no make up means that you are ugly. So having layers of fake tan and make up makes you beautiful? All it does is make you look like a dorito and make other girls think you look stupid. Beauty isn’t just skin deep.
